Elle is Moses' wife, his life-long love. The two of them have lived their entire lives in Bluerock, and the prospect of its imminent collapse, made all the more real by the departure of their friends, has made her afraid of the future. Her distress persuades Moses, against his judgment, to indulge Plunk's plan for saving Bluerock, and her fate in the aftermath of that plan spurs Moses' revenge against Priestess Chee'naia.
