A servant girl, sold into slavery, who was kidnapped by goblins during their raid on Talonwood. The goblins intended to use her to staunch the appetite of a giant spider living in the nearby woods. Darrius and Calias rescued her from that trap; with nowhere else to go, she joined them on their quest, carrying a strange secret with her.

The extent of Claudette's slavery was not discovered until her wristbands were removed, causing her to revert to her true form, a fierce Rakshasa. Abby brings her and the rest of the party to her sister, the witch Zienna, who discovers and explains the shape-shift spell inscribed to the inside of the wristbands. Zienna, however, cannot control the unbound, enraged Claudette, who escapes into the woods in search of her tribe.

In Book 5, Claudette, pursuing a lead to a slave-trading operation masquerading as an orphange, arrives in Solospray, where she notices Hildy ignoring the city's daily Solanna worship ritual, and decides to investigate.
